Syllabus 4/27 to 5/1

Yay May!

Thank you for your participation and cooperation with the day of silence. I am proud of all of you for making room 328 and BLA a place where all students can feel safe and welcome. We have a long way to go but are off to a great start. Kudos!


Monday
In class:
Due: read/translate Act V – the ENTIRE ACT. Then, Answer questions #’s 1,3,6,8, 12, 16, 19 on pages 220-222. ALSO, complete #’’s 1 to 10 on pages 228 to 231.
Due: All additional worksheets from April 16th
Review the play as a whole
Research Papers!!!!
HOMEWORK:
Due tomorrow: finish class work. Bring ALL notes with you to class.
You will be working on a quiz: groups of three

Tuesday
In class:
Due: classwork/notes to class
Group Test: Due at the end of class. (if you are absent, you will have a shortened version that you need to complete independently).
HOMEWORK:
Due tomorrow: Bring Magazines to class! School appropriate: no maxim, etc. I have some to use, but they have been used (cut, ripped, etc) and are a bit old.

Wednesday
In class:
Due: Magazines
Lady Macbeth: Monster or not?
This is a character analysis and visual project. You will have to work in groups (or on your own if you want). You have to create a visual and justify her development and character in a group essay. You can use the materials I have and/or you can bring in your own.
The essay will be due by 11:59 pm on Thursday night.
Your visual will be due on FRIDAY and you will have to present it to the class.
This will be a test grade for TERM 5!!!

Due tonight: uploaded on turnitin by 11:59 tonight! NO EXCEPTIONS!!! You CAN NOT turn in a hard copy. I am only accepting it ONLINE.

Friday

Each group has about 3-5 minutes to explain and present their project.
Grades close for TERM 4.
